And that would be...*drumroll*....City of Heavenly Fire!
Yup, you read it right. I am truly, sincerely, desperately waiting for 2014! I can't believe Cassandra Clare will make us wait that long! *sigh* :(

2014? Seriously? Oh please. You've got to be kidding me. You'll make me wait for 2 long years before reading the complete series??? Haha. I haven't read TMI #1 because I am waiting for the release of the final installment of the series. When I learned that it won't be released until two years later, I'm having doubts if I can wait that long. I might as well start the series one of these days. :) But I truly hope it'll be released sooner! :)

WOOOOOW! I can't believe its over! My eyes are craving for moooore! The plot, the characters, the resolution, the lesson of the story, the controversial issues that are handled wisely, and oh, the writing! The book is extremely fantastic! It doesn't mean it's perfect, but everything in the book falls into place.

I'm surprised! I reaaally loved it! It would be better though if some issues are handled with care (considering its moral implications and stuff) and if some lessons are given with impact. But overall, the book is definitely awesome!

Honestly, the book is pretty good, but it didn't appeal that much to me because it broke my heart. It either has a good plot, though there's not much lesson to get OR the plot is pretty good, but the ending is devastating.

2 Notes:

The book is fine, but it didn't appeal to me because it's pretty flawed: (1) issues are not handled wisely enough; (2) lesson is not clear; (3) or the plot is not that strong.

I didn't like it at all.

But you can totally read TMI 1-3 now. It is a complete story, and there are no cliff hangers at the end. Originally TMI was supposed to be a trilogy, and after finishing it, Clare decided to add some more books. So you won't be left hanging if you read the first three now (City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass).

Besides City of Bones the movie is coming out next year, and you want to read that book before then.; September 05, 2012 11:08 pm
